| Duties: |
Task 1. Software Maintenance. Software maintenance support consists of but
is not limited to: ·
Perfective
Maintenance, which includes enhancements to CHCS performance,
maintainability, and usability. Perfective
maintenance is performed as a result of new or changing requirements to
augment or fine-tune the software. ·
Adaptive
maintenance, which includes changes to CHS to accommodate changes in
processing environment. These changes are generally related to laws,
regulations and rules. ·
Corrective
Maintenance, which includes changes or corrections primarily related to
the identification and removal of code defects that either remove the
effectiveness of CHCS or render it useless. ·
Preventative
Maintenance, which includes preventing problems before they occur. Task 2. Software Infrastructure. Software infrastructure support consists of
but is not limited to: Evaluation of new system components prior to integration into the CHCS system. |
| Requirements: | 5-8 years' MUMPS experience performing above duties. Degrees in computer science, information systems or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in MUMPS-based environments running VMS on Compaq Alpha-series platforms. |
