Data Unlimited International, Inc., Maryland, USA - March 4, 2005 - The Minority Business & Professionals Network (MBPN) featured Flora Kan, President of Data Unlimited International, Inc., as one of the Distinguished Minority Women Entrepreneurs in the January/February 2005 edition of Minority Enterprise Advocate Magazine (MEA), a publication of MBPN.

Data Unlimited International, Inc. (DUII) launched its first Starfruit product in 1999 to assist laboratories conducting basic research in the biosciences.With the expanded use of DNA to investigate crimes over the past decade and a half, Starfruit products have been developed to assist in this area. Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is a long biomolecule, found in the cellular nuclei of living organisms.Forensic scientists compare DNA profiles from two sources, such as evidence from a crime scene and samples taken from a suspect or victim, to assess the relationship between two sources.When the DNA profiles are determined to be a complete match (for example between a bloodstain at a crime scene and a sample from a suspect), they can be considered to have originated from the same source.
