Howard L. Dobres Joined Starfruit Consultancy Staff



Data Unlimited International, Inc., Maryland, USA - January 30, 2003 -
Howard L. Dobres joined DUII as a Senior Forensic Consultant. Mr. Dobres was formerly the Laboratory Director of the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in New York City.

"We believe Howard will be a great complement to our Starfruit consultancy staff, and we look forward to his contributions."


Mr. Dobres retired from DEA where he directed the operation of DEA Northeast Laboratory, servicing DEA, FBI, U.S. Customs Service, and other Federal agencies in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Eastern Canada, providing necessary forensic science support programs. Mr. Dobres established the priorities and goals, formulated the operating procedures, and developed laboratory methods to promote enforcement and compliance with narcotic laws. Mr. Dobres provided the leadership and technical direction to a staff of four supervisors, twenty-six forensic chemists, three fingerprint specialists, and support personnel.
Mr. Dobres said "My retirement from the Drug Enforcement Administration in March 2002, brought to a close my 34 year career as a forensic chemist, supervisor and Laboratory Director. My immediate goal is to continue serving the forensic community through my association with Data Unlimited International, Inc. Through this association, I look forward to meeting with my many friends and colleagues in the forensic science community in the coming months."
