Taiwan Government Approved the Trademark:

 

 

Data Unlimited International, Inc. (DUII), Maryland, USA –August 6, 2002– DUII has successfully obtained the  approved trademark registration for the mark, Starfruit Technologies, registration number 0913032330 and application number 090801186 .  Obtaining the second trademark registration represented DUII's effort to protect intellectual property and advanced DUII's marketing strategy to introduce Starfruit products to Asian market.

Starfruit products include:

  • Starfruit DNA® (US Applied Patent Number: 09/754,425 and 09/852,452) is a Windows NT/2000 client server distributed application. Starfruit DNA® is a key technology improvement offering an advantage over existing traditional Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMSs) by providing features including security, inventory control, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) engine, and electronic case folder.

  • Starfruit CrimeLab™ is a LIMS designed for forensic laboratories to implement paperless scientific investigation on crime scene evidence.  The software and database covers eight scientific disciplines: drug analysis, toxicology, DNA biology, latent print, trace analysis, firearms, crime scene, and images.

  • Starfruit IdentiTrack™ is a LIMS with allele reference database management and ability to create DNA profile with subject demographics for DNA testing laboratories including COmbined DNA Indexed System (CODIS) labs, immigration labs, parentage labs, reference labs, and clinical labs.
